The great Reservation System of INDIA

Hi, Naman here, in my last post i discussed problems of india relating to Secularism, and in this post i will discuss about  the one of the products of non secular Indian govt. that is "Reservation:" This system is not new to india

In India three categories of people out of four get reservation namely ST ( schedule tribe ), SC (Schedule Caste) and OBC (Other backward classes), one which does not get any reservation is "General Caste" (bummer, i belong to General Class)

Example of reservation. Lets say we have 100 vacancies in govt sector or any institution ( IIM, b.tech institutions, medical collages and many more),  lets assume 7.5% reserved for ST, 15% for SC and 27% for OBC. what does that mean ???? are 50.5% left for General class ?? well the Answer is NO. these 50.5% vacancies are open to all four Categories of people ( yep, not good ). thats not all, usually cut off for such reserved vacancies are very low compared to not reserved vacancies.

History of Reservation (wikipedia) -In August 1932, the Prime Minister of Britain, Ramsay
Macdonald, introduced the Communal Award, according to which separate representation was to be provided for the Muslims, Sikhs, Indian Christians, Anglo-Indians, Europeans, Dalit. The depressed classes were assigned a number of seats to be filled by election from special constituencies in which voters belonging to the depressed classes only could vote.
According to some people, Caste Based Reservation in India started in 2nd Century B.C. where upper castes enjoyed caste based reservation.

JAT Reservation Stir-  Jat people are usually farmers, they are not considered backward and are economically well off and have good political influence.
They want to be included in  OBC category  which will allow them to benefit from Quota system (ie. 27% reservation in govt. jobs ) after several rapes and people getting injured jats and five other castes will now be eligible for reservation in government jobs and educational institutions in Haryana as the Assembly unanimously passed the Haryana Backward Classes (Reservation in Services and Admission in Educational Institutions) Bill, 2016
